Six current members of the Wolverine Hockey Team, joined 14 prospective Bridgton Academy Players at the College Prospects New England Showcase in Exeter, NH. The Bridgton team went 4-0 over the weekend and really turned some heads of college and junior teams. The possible incoming Bridgton players represented themselves well and showed they can compete at the next level of hockey. "We really were impressed with the incoming kids. They learned very fast about competing for each and every puck", said Assistant Coach Mike Meserve.

Fred Hein, Eric Seigel, Alex Young, Chris Smith and Ben Pearl made their final visit to Stevensbrook Elementary School to conclude their participation in the Wolverine Hockey Reading and Math Program. This program was designed as a community service project for the Wolverine Hockey Team. This year, players from the team visited classrooms at Stevensbrook and assisted the class with their math and reading work. As a bonus, players signed autograph sheets and pictures for the entire class. "Students were very receptive to our players. They worked hard and were extremely focused. I really enjoyed spending time with the kids and hoped they had as much fun as I did", said Assistant Captain Ben Pearl.
