NORTH
BRIDTON, ME-- The Bridgton Academy Junior Hockey team hosted the Middlesex
Islanders and Stanstead Prep for a game each this past weekend at Bridgton Ice
Arena on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
The
Wolverines got their lone goal from Tripp Franzese (Marblehead, MA) on Saturday
night with the assists from Ryan McDonough (Dorchester, MA) and Artem
Yasynetskyy (Kharkiv, Ukraine), in a 8-1 loss. Michael DeFilippo (Montreal, QC)
and Ryan Slatky (Manchester, NH) saw time in net.
The
Wolverines then hosted Stanstead Prep taking a 4-1 loss. Jordan Smith
(Freemont, CA)got the Wolverines’ lone goal, assisted by Tyler Burton (Wabush,
NL) and Yasynetskyy.
The
Wolverines return to action this weekend when they will take part in the 2013
Warrior Classic in Haverhill, MA.
